Procedure of NEET Counseling Date, Time for MBBS/ BDS Seat

NEET Counseling: The counseling of NEET 2019 for 15% all India Quota seats will be conducted by the Medical Counseling  Committee in the month of June, 2019. The NEET 2019 Counseling  will be conducted on online mode for all those applicants who will clear cutoff for admissions under 15% all India quota seats in government medical and dental colleges across all over India. The counseling  of NEET 2019  will be conducted for around 3850 MBBS and BDS seats. In order to participate in NEET Counseling  2019 , qualified applicants will have to first register themselves for the counseling process during the registration period announce, schedule and allotment result etc.

Applicants can check counseling  schedule of NEET. The below mentioned time table will be updated as and when MCC will declare the counseling  programme for this year.

NEET Counseling  2019 for 15% All India Quota seats The counseling  of NEET 2019  will be conducted for providing admissions to seats in government medical and dental colleges for mbbs programme, which falls under the category of All India Quota seats. This year Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu and Kashmir does not participate in central pool of All India quota, no seats are reserved in these states under All India Quota. Hence, the states will conduct counseling  for 100% states quota seats. To participate in counseling  procedure of NEET 2019 , Applicants will have to register themselves with MCC in order to obtain a roll number and password. Number of MBBS and BDS seats under 15% all India Quota

The number of MBBS and BDS seats available under 15% all India quota, whose counseling  will be conducted by the Medical Counseling  Committee (MCC).

Guidelines to follow in NEET Counseling  2019

During this step of registration, eligible applicants as declared by CBSE will have to register online. applicants will have to click on ‘New registrations’ tab. Now, applicants will be required to enter their details such as roll number, all India rank and percentile score. After registration, applicants will be allotted a user name and password.

Exercising of Choices and Locking

During this step, Applicants will have to select their choice of medical and dental college where they wish to take admission. During exercising their options, applicants can interchange their opted choices as many times as they want before locking them. Once the choice is locked by the applicants, they cannot be modified. Further, the locked choices will start appearing on applicant’s screen.

Round 1- Seat Allotment Process

During the seat allotment process, the seats to be allotted to applicants according to their choice of medical and dental college selected will be distributed.

Round 1- Counseling  Result

After the seat allotment process, the result for round 1 of NEET 2019  counseling  will be published online in a pdf format. The result will consist of state’s name, institute name, branch, category and total seats.

Reporting at allotted medical and dental college against 1st round of counseling

After the counseling  result will be released, applicants will have to report at the medical and dental college within the closing time.

 NEET 2019  Documents required during the final phase of counseling :

Applicants without the original documents will not be allowed to take admission under any circumstance. Applicants will have to mandatory bring the list of below mentioned documents for admission to the allotted medical and dental college:
